Hints of the different worlds
we enter when we experience loss.

Written for Lisa
after the death of her mother.

Today is not a real day.
Time is an illusion today
I am colour blind.
I'm in a fish tank, today.

Eat, if I remember.
Sleep, if it remembers me.
The laws of physics are suspended.
Surroundings are a million miles away, today.
